Executive Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars and schedules and coordinate all internal and external meetings and commitments for the executive using Microsoft Office
  • Serve as the point of contact between the partner(s) and other employees and clients
  • Cover international and domestic travel arrangements
  • Provide IT assistance as needed
  • Code and submit monthly expense reports on behalf of the partner(s)
  • Work closely with other executive assistants/schedulers
  • Manage the executive’s personal and business database of contacts
  • Assist with the partner(s)’ personal errands, as needed
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in scheduling and/or administrative support roles for high-level executives and/or on Capitol Hill
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and ever-changing priorities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, is able to anticipate needs before they arise, and resolves issues quickly
  • Possess excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
  • Flexible to the changing needs and responsibilities of the workplace
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, due to the nature of the work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in scheduling and/or administrative support roles for high-level executives and/or on Capitol Hill

Benefits

  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule that includes both in-office and remote work.
  • This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible for overtime pay.
  • The budgeted salary is $55,000 and there is an opportunity for a year-end bonus.

  • We have a work from home hybrid environment.
