Executive Assistant
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Oncology & Multispecialty Strategy. This role requires strong organization, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the executive’s calendar, including scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating meetings, events, and related logistics.
- Arrange domestic and international travel, accommodations, itineraries, and expense reports.
- Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, correspondence, and other materials using Microsoft Office tools.
- Screen, triage, and respond to emails and requests as appropriate, gathering information and facilitating timely follow-up.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
- Support onsite meetings, offsites, internal events, and ad hoc special projects as assigned.
- Represent the executive and the company professionally through strong follow-through, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Anticipate needs, proactively prepare information, and help conserve the executive’s time by researching and gathering materials in advance.
- Provide general office-day support as needed, including assistance during travel or periods requiring flexibility outside standard business hours.
Requirements
- Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.
- Must reside in the DFW area and be able to work onsite in the Irving office as requested.
- 5+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant role, preferably supporting C-level or senior executive leaders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible based on business needs, meetings, and project priorities.

Pay
Our Base Pay Range for this position is $32.56 - $54.26 per hour. This range is aligned with McKesson’s pay philosophy and is determined by several factors, including performance, experience, skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
