Executive Assistant
About the role
Executive Assistant to Managing Partner Marshall & Taylor, PLLC is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner to serve as a trusted partner in supporting the Managing Partner's professional responsibilities and helping the firm operate at its highest level. This is not a traditional administrative position. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, resourceful, discreet, and exceptionally dependable—someone who naturally thinks several steps ahead and takes pride in making a busy executive's life more organized and productive. The right person will become a trusted extension of the Managing Partner, helping manage priorities, calendars, communications, meetings, projects, and follow-up. You will frequently be given a desired outcome rather than a step-by-step set of instructions, and you will be expected to determine what needs to happen and make it happen. You will work with confidential information and interact with attorneys, clients, business partners, vendors, and other professionals. Judgment, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people are essential. The ideal candidate is someone who notices what needs to be done before being asked, follows through relentlessly, keeps important matters from falling through the cracks, and can calmly bring order to a fast-moving environment. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be more than an assistant. We are looking for a true right hand—someone who can become an indispensable part of the Managing Partner's professional life and an important member of the firm's leadership team.
