Position Summary
As a key operational partner on the EnviroVoters team, the Executive Assistant provides comprehensive support to the Chief Strategy Officer, VP of Communications, and State Advocacy Director. This role manages complex calendars, coordinates across multiple offices, supports high-stakes communications workflows, and ensures senior leaders have what they need to operate effectively.
KEY PRIORITIES
- Manage calendars and executive logistics
- Coordinate complex, overlapping calendars for three senior leaders, aligning scheduling decisions with organizational priorities
- Triage and prioritize competing requests, serving as a responsive and reliable point of contact
- Prepare and organize meeting materials, agendas, and briefing documents in advance
- Take and distribute meeting notes and track action items through to completion
- Process expense reimbursements and invoices accurately and in accordance with organizational policy
- Support communications and advocacy operations
- Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, talking points, and internal communications on behalf of principals
- Auxiliary support for communications and advocacy operations
What We Need From You
- We are looking for an experienced, highly organized executive support professional with a genuine commitment to climate and environmental justice.
- Specifically: Five or more years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting senior leaders
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple executives simultaneously, preferably in a nonprofit, advocacy, or political environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines across multiple principals
- High level of discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities, particularly during legislative session
- Commitment to environmental and climate justice issues
Additional Strengths
- We Welcome Familiarity with California legislative processes or political organizing environments
- Background in communications, public affairs, political science, or a related field

Pay
- Exempt Wage: $80,000 - $90,000

Work Schedule
- Four Day Work Week: Two (2) days in office, two (2) days remote.
