About the role

Banesco USA is seeking an Executive Assistant for their Executive Department. The primary job duties include administrative support, documentation management, scheduling, corporate governance, communication, event planning, travel & expenses, financial review, compliance & development, and regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the President & CEO in all day-to-day administrative functions of the bank.
  • Manages and monitors executive documents, correspondence, and digital communication.
  • Corespons with Corporate Governance in the elaboration and coordination of the Annual Committee and Board calendars.
  • Serves as a liaison between the executive office and staff, customers, regulators, and Banesco Group companies.
  • Organizes annual board and committee meetings, ensuring all presentation materials are prepared for dual-platform delivery.
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for the CEO, Board members, and staff; prepares and maintains accurate expense reports.
  • Performs monthly reconciliations of petty cash and corporate credit cards, and reviews invoices prior to approval.
  • Ensures 100% completion of mandated annual training programs and professional development certifications.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations by consistently completing all assigned annual training.
  • Executes additional responsibilities and special projects as directed by executive leadership.
  • Completes annual training program assigned other than Consumer Compliance.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of experience as an administrative assistant for C-Level Executives.
  • Skills: Advanced computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), strong verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational, time-management, and prioritizing skills, strong customer service skills, basic knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and operational policies, ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
