EXECUTIVE AND CHAIR TALENT ADVISOR
Job Summary
The Executive & Chair Talent Advisor reports into the Director, Talent Acquisition with dotted line to the CHRO and leads full-cycle recruitment for executive and physician leadership roles, building national and niche pipelines for oncology, clinical, research, administrative, and strategic positions. As a strategic partner to senior leaders, the Advisor drives proactive recruitment & talent pipelining for Director-level and above reporting into Vice Presidents and above and includes confidential as well as mission-critical Chair and physician leadership searches. The role additionally recruits leaders who advance enterprise growth, innovation, and strategic expansion (e.g., digital health, commercialization, AI/advanced analytics, value-based care, clinical transformation, and operations).
About the Role
Leveraging market intelligence, data analytics, and deep relationship networks across academic medicine, NCI-designated cancer centers, and innovation ecosystems, the Advisor ensures Moffitt attracts high-impact talent to advance clinical excellence, research innovation, operational scalability, and enterprise transformation.
Responsibilities
- Lead national searches for key & executive leaders including Chairs across all areas of the center.
- Qualify and assess candidates via behavioral and competency-based methods aligned to Moffitt’s mission.
- Orchestrate long-cycle search strategies, multi-interviewer panels, equitable scorecards, confidential processes, and high-touch candidate experience.
- Partner with Compensation on complex offer & relocation negotiations.
- Grow, innovate, and strategically expand recruitment by recruiting leaders advancing enterprise growth (new service lines, institutes/centers, program launches, market entry).
- Source executive talent from innovation ecosystems (health tech, AI/ML, analytics, digital front door, consumer experience, remote/virtual care, commercialization/BD, partnerships).
- Recruit administrative and business operations leaders (strategy, finance, clinical operations, population health/value-based care, transformation/PMO) to enable scalable growth.
- Engage with startups, accelerators, and industry networks to build non-traditional pipelines complementing academic/clinical talent.
- Provide market maps, competitive intelligence, and recruitment analytics.
- Offer compensation insights (physician market dynamics, leadership premiums, signing/relocation) and negotiation strategy.
- Provide oversight to real-estate to community partnerships to drive best-in-class tours and community access to underscore Moffitt value proposition.
- Build enduring relationships with NCI-designated centers, academic departments, fellowship programs, and oncology professional societies (ASCO, ASTRO, AACR).
- Represent Moffitt at targeted conferences, symposia, and innovation forums; host virtual and in-person networking to maintain a “virtual bench”.
- Champion outreach strategies to ensure inclusive candidate slates and equitable processes.
- Manage the end-to-end process: sourcing, screening, interviews (virtual/in-person), itineraries, stakeholder coordination, reference diligence.
- Prepare candidate summaries and executive briefings for leadership; facilitate panel debriefs and decision alignment.
- Career site management and candidate experience, selection, and onboarding.
- Process excellence, compliance, and vendor management.
- Continuously improve recruitment workflows, tools, and assessment rigor to drive quality, speed, and equity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, HR, Healthcare Administration or other related discipline.
- Minimum twelve (12) years of business experience; at least ten (10) years in full-cycle executive recruiting, with documented success managing Director and above searches.
- Demonstrated success recruiting oncology physician leaders (e.g., Department/Division Chairs, Medical Directors, Section Chiefs) and senior administrative leaders in academic or research-intensive health systems.
- Proven ability to run long-cycle, national searches and engage passive talent; advanced market research and advanced sourcing strategies.
- Experience advising and influencing senior leaders on selection, compensation/offer structuring and closing in competitive markets.
- Experience and comfort presenting to senior executives.
- National/international search firm experience or leading complex in-house executive/physician recruitment portfolios.
- Experience recruiting leaders for growth, innovation, and strategic expansion (digital health, AI/analytics, commercialization/BD, population health, value-based care, enterprise operations).

Pay
$91,356.20 - $139,432.80
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
