About the role

The Grateful Giving Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through technology-driven charitable giving. We seek volunteers to join our Executive Advisory Board and local Giving Leadership Councils.

Responsibilities

  • Volunteer on the Executive Advisory Board to provide strategic advice, expertise, networking, and resources for the foundation's mission.
  • Participate in quarterly meetings via Zoom.
  • Volunteer on a local Giving Leadership Council to review nonprofit nominees, select a local nonprofit to support, and donate to the chosen organization.
  • Contribute to the Grateful Giving software by selecting a local nonprofit for a featured listing.
  • Make a financial contribution to the selected local nonprofit once per quarter and to Grateful Giving annually to support the program.

Requirements

General Attributes:

  • Believe in the importance of charitable giving.
  • Believe in using technology as a force for good.
  • Willing to give both time and dollars alongside others doing the same to make a significant social impact.

Qualifications

Executive Advisory Board:

  • Leadership experience in technology, business, or social impact ventures.
  • Ability to commit approximately 5-10 hours per year.
  • Annual donation to support Grateful Giving’s programs and impact.
