Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of executive or senior administrative experience, including 3 years supporting directorate level or executive staff
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Working knowledge and understanding of DoW processes and terminology
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-security environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Background and drug screening check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting senior or executive-level leaders in a government or defense environment
- In-depth familiarity with classified document handling and secure office operations
- Experience using the Defense Travel System (DTS), including preparation, approval coordination, and reconciliation of travel authorizations and expense reports
- Experience mentoring or leading administrative teams
- Demonstrated success in process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives
About the Role
The Senior Executive Administrator provides strategic, high-level administrative support to senior and executive leadership. This role requires extensive experience operating in secure, mission-critical environments and a deep understanding of Department of the Air Force processes and terminology. The Senior Executive Administrator acts as a trusted partner to leadership, ensuring seamless daily operations, effective communication, and adherence to security and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level administrative support to executive leadership, including complex calendar management, prioritization, and coordination of high-visibility meetings and engagements
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively manage administrative and operational requirements
- Prepare, review, and manage executive correspondence, reports, briefings, and presentations
- Serve as a primary point of contact between executive leadership, staff, and external stakeholders
- Oversee records management and documentation in compliance with DoW policies and security protocols
- Coordinate and manage executive travel, including itineraries, logistics, and expense reconciliation
- Ensure proper handling, tracking, and safeguarding of sensitive and classified information
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Office capabilities to support executive-level deliverables
- Support senior leadership initiatives, special projects, and process improvements
- Mentor or provide guidance to junior administrative staff, as needed
