About the role
The Executive Administrative Assistant supports the Executive Director of KenCrest's Delaware Adult Residential Services program. This role plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a large residential services division that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Responsibilities
- Manage the Executive Director's calendar, priorities, meetings, and daily workflow.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the Executive Director and internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Cook up meetings, events, travel arrangements, and conference logistics.
- Track project timelines, action items, and follow-up activities to ensure deadlines are met.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Organize, compile, and distribute reports and presentations for leadership and operational teams.
- Support operational planning and special projects within Delaware Adult Residential Services.
- Maintain organized electronic files and ensure critical documents are accessible when needed.
- Follow up with leaders and stakeholders to ensure requests, reports, and project deliverables are completed on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience supporting executive-level leadership required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, human services, or IDD settings preferred.
- Knowledge of the IDD residential services field is preferred; candidates with the ability and desire to learn quickly are encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete required background screenings.
