Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in implementing department activities and communications.
- Manages internal and external correspondence, including reading and routing incoming mail.
- Independently handles or attaches appropriate files and information for supervisors.
- Drafts written responses or replies by phone or email.
- Prepares outgoing mail, composes and types routine correspondence, and maintains up-to-date files.
- Handles telephone inquiries, interacts with various groups of important external callers, and provides information or routes calls to appropriate officials.
- Serves as the Global Home liaison for the department, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, and processing expense reports as directed.
- Assumes special projects or other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- At least ten years of secretarial or other administrative support experience for senior level management is required.
- Strong computer skills are necessary, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation graphics.
