Executive Administrative Assistant & Ambassador Council Liaison
About the role
The National Forest Foundation (NFF) is seeking a regular, full-time Executive Administrative Assistant & Ambassador Council Liaison to provide executive level support to the Chief Advancement Officer and other members of the Advancement Management Team. The role also supports the Ambassador Council.
Position Function
The Executive Administrative Assistant & Ambassador Council Liaison provides executive administrative support to the CAO, coordinates board meetings, and manages the Ambassador Council.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CAO, including managing an active calendar of appointments, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Aid the Executive Assistant to the CEO/President in organizing 4 Board Meetings per year, assisting with meeting logistics.
- Operate as staff lead for the Ambassador Council meeting, coordinating and communicating with Council, NFF President & CEO, and Chief Advancement Officer.
- Create and maintain records of Ambassador Council member and candidate background information, outreach, and interactions.
- Edit and prepare correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
- Arrange complex travel plans and prepare documents for travel-related meetings.
- Support outreach to donors on behalf of the CAO.
- Accurately complete expense reports.
- Assist with advancement-related events.
- Work with the CAO and NFF staff to generate resources for strategic priorities.
- Maintain communication contact records within databases.
- Organize agenda/materials for bi-weekly Advancement Direct Report meetings.
- Provide scheduling support and prepare key briefings for meetings.
- Complete other duties as defined by the CAO.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Seven or more years of administrative experience at the executive level.
- Experience working with corporate or non-profit boards/volunteers/board management.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office365, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Commitment to the mission of the NFF.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Location
The position is flexible throughout the lower 48 states and is a remote/work-from-home position requiring reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace.
Compensation

The starting salary range is $85,000 to $106,250, with the ability to grow based on performance outcomes.
