Exception Item Processor I

About the role

Someone responsible for working daily exception items and the ability to make decisions on accounts while adhering to policies and procedures. Someone responsible for delivering excellent customer service while professionally assisting customers and providing support to branch personnel to help resolve customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clerical tasks using basic research and problem solving.
• Work with reports daily to solve account transactions in a timely manner with accuracy.
• Sort and route return documents from RCB Bank customers and the Federal Reserve.
• Research, document and resolve credit reporting disputes received from various channels within specified deadlines.
• Research, review, and document legal documents.

Requirements

• You can maintain confidentiality.
• You possess excellent phone etiquette.
• You have excellent attention to detail and can follow procedures and analyze/solve basic and complex problems with accuracy.
• You care about your community and have a desire to be involved.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.

Skills

• Previous banking experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
