About the role

The Excellerate Foreman I supervises electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial and industrial settings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
  • 10 to 25% travel

Schedule

This position works between the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required, and work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ability to run a scope of work/project(s) with a crew of 1–10+ effectively
  • Establish expectations and motivate crews to consistently meet or exceed project goals
  • Complete projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner
  • Complete basic paperwork (e.g., foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, time cards) in a timely manner
  • Effectively manage resources (tools, equipment, staffing) within the crew
  • Read and understand estimates, with assistance from project management or superintendent, as part of project installation and layout
  • Provide feedback and coaching to crew members
  • Conduct thorough Operational Risk Management (ORM), address and eliminate hazards, and enforce workplace safety procedures (e.g., weekly toolbox talks, safety audits, documentation)
  • Actively mentor and develop others within projects and crews
  • Support usage of internal resources (e.g., Excellerate, Precon, APC, Productivity, Engineering, Estimating)
  • Maintain compliance with company policies; consult with HR and/or Workforce Managers to ensure consistent corrective measures and documentation
  • Demonstrate excellent customer relations through effective problem-solving techniques
  • Participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
