About the role

As the Excellerate Apprentice I, you are responsible for installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial and industrial settings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Enrollment in Electrical Apprenticeship-Level 1 (if applicable)
• Travel: 0-25%

Schedule

• Between the hours of 5 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday
• May vary based on customer demands and can include nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and provide basic troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Install electrical raceways and wire, lighting, controls, machinery, and electrical distribution equipment under the supervision of an experienced Journeymen Electrician
• Demonstrate appropriate skills of a First Year Apprentice
• Install and bend conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders
• Perform wire and cable pulls
• Wiring – stripping, splice two wires, install switch and receptacle, draw 3 switches to control one light
• Knowledge of different types of anchors and supports and how to properly install
• Competent with a tape measure and level
• Knowledge of different sizes of conductors and phase colors of voltages
• Assist with material handling duties on the jobsite
• Provide technical assistance to other apprentices as needed
• Maintain compliance with company policies
• Maintain compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements
• Clean and maintain tools, test equipment, and jobsite
• Actively participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
