About the role
Responsible for operating excavators to perform various construction tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, move earth, and construct foundations.
- Assist in grading land and preparing sites for construction projects.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of related experience in construction or similar field.
- Knowledge of construction equipment operation and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong physical fitness and stamina.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficient in operating excavators and other heavy machinery.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
