Excavation Equipment Operators - West Fargo

About the role

Operate a variety of heavy equipment to accomplish difficult or highly complex tasks. Prior to operating equipment, conduct routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs. Maintain records of time worked and materials used. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience running equipment
• Experience in rigging and moving heavy objects on the job site
• Valid driver’s license
• Class A license is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of soils and compaction
• Ability to read construction staking or the willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of plan reading or the willingness to learn
• Basic construction surveying knowledge or the willingness to learn
• Willingness to understand and accept safety standards
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form
• Maintain flexibility in the schedule during the busy season
• Willingness to work hard and be reliable
