About the role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Excavation Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will safely operate excavators and other heavy equipment on construction sites while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, productivity, and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation.
• Read and interpret site plans, grades, and utility locates.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
• Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating excavators on construction job sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
