Excab Warehouse Generalist I

About the role

This position is responsible for multiple job functions within the warehouse, including reading and writing product numbers, pulling, picking, and assembling cabinets, preparing products for outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventories. The role also involves loading and unloading freight carriers and processing RGAs when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pick orders and assemble cabinets as directed.
• Paint cabinets when necessary.
• Process RGAs and damaged product.
• Unload and load FedEx, UPS, and LTL freight.
• Inventory control—putting stock away.
• Use forklift and pallet jacks as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to all safety and housekeeping policies and guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify and prioritize urgent orders.
• Strong attention to detail (reading and writing product numbers and descriptions).
• Good communication skills with Sales/Shipping personnel.
• Knowledge and understanding of pick and pack lists.
• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Keep accurate inventory notes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50–70 pounds.
• Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Frequently required to push/pull a ladder, ascend and/or descend ladder while holding packages.
• Occasionally required to climb and balance.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
• Must have the ability to use power tools.
