Exam Room Assistant
About the role
Expand our team and seek a motivated individual with experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician (certification not required).
Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
- Prepare and monitor patients during anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with radiographs
- Conduct lab testing, collect samples, and place IV catheters
- Educate clients on preventive health, nutrition, and home care
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinic flow
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant or technician.
Qualifications
Confidence in your technical skills with a willingness to continue learning, strong teamwork and communication skills, ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude and passion for animal health and client education.
