EWM IT Systems Analyst Specialist
Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking an EWM IT Systems Analyst Specialist. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
About the role
The primary responsibility of this role is to design, model, configure, and implement SAP EWM and related process solutions to meet desired business requirements. The candidate will analyze business processes and systems to recommend improvements using Eaton's standard SAP deployment model and processes. This role participates in SAP implementations, provides third-level support, and deploys enhancement projects for the Aerospace SAP S4 Program. The candidate must drive regional solutions and implement controls that are fully auditable and compliant with business and control standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth functional and business process knowledge of SAP S4 EWM, including interfaces and S4 core functionality.
- Partner with divisional and regional business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems.
- Manage requirements scope and disposition through process compliance, gap analysis, integration testing, and user acceptance methodology.
- Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes.
- Help identify consolidated, worldwide target processes for SAP EWM.
- Demonstrate analytical skills to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs.
- Deliver functional specifications and configuration aligned with agreed and approved designs.
- Develop and implement organizational change management plans related to projects.
- Apply Eaton's project methodology and governance processes to change control, system development life cycle, and regression testing.
- Support end-to-end processes based on an intermediate understanding of system touchpoints.
- Learn and integrate Eaton's other key platforms into SAP S4.
- Work with the global governance team to ensure proposed solutions align with global standards.
- Participate in business process improvement committees as needed.
- Communicate complex system issues and decision points to senior leaders using common business language.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation.
- Attend daily Scrum calls, support testing, facilitate cross-functional design discussions, and collaborate closely with Eaton IT and Global Process Owners (GPOs).
Experience with ChaRM, ServiceNow, MS Teams, JIRA, Panaya, Signavio, and other automation/Agile tools is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in SAP EWM implementation and support.
- Strong system expertise gathered through numerous full-life cycle projects.
- Experienced knowledge of applications' technical capabilities.

- Production Planning (PP).
- Materials Management (MM).
- Quality Management (QM).
