EVS Unit Director

About the role

We are seeking a 1st Shift Environmental Services Unit Director in Kirksville, MO.

Responsibilities

• Work scheduling of all department personnel
• Establishing work standards
• Conducting site evaluations/audits
• Overall inventory/equipment usage
• Budget control
• Employee performance appraisals
• Troubleshooting/problem solving
• Orientation/training of department managers and support personnel
• Customer relations
• Special project work as requested
• Ensure all managed services are being provided in a proper and cost-effective manner

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and experience leading and managing a team
• Customer service minded individuals
• Strong communication skills
• Previous Director EVS Healthcare Floorcare Linen Patient Transport Payroll P&Ls Training

Skills

• Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data
• Demonstrated proficiency with general business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong service/quality attitude
• Able to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management
• Able to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
