Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Oversee daily housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations while ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and motivate Environmental Services employees while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Infection Prevention: Develop and implement cleaning schedules, sanitation procedures, and infection prevention protocols in accordance with healthcare standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Conduct routine inspections and maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and facility requirements.
• Budget & Inventory Management: Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, oversee purchasing, and maintain appropriate supply and inventory levels.
• Preventative Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance activities and preventative maintenance programs to ensure a safe and well-maintained facility.
• Quality Assurance: Identify opportunities for improvement, address environmental concerns, and maintain survey readiness.
• Collaborative Leadership: Partner with nursing, administration, and other departments to support facility operations and resident satisfaction.

Requirements

• Healthcare Environmental Services Experience: Previous Environmental Services or Housekeeping Management experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting is required.
• Leadership & Staff Management:
