Pay
Expected pay for this position is $17.00 – $18.89 per hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position.
Position Summary
The EVS Tech I is an essential contributor to a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection‑prevention. Responsibilities include performing routine cleaning tasks, maintaining an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors, and ensuring timely room cleans to support hospital patient throughput. The role adapts workflow or area assignments as needed to meet hospital and discharge flow requirements.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services.
- Certificate in Non‑Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification.
