EVS Tech I
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months’ experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position
- Possession of a Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification
Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected pay range for this position is $19.22 - $21.35/hour.

About the Role
The EVS Tech I is an essential contributor to promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. They are responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors, and responding favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet hospital/discharge flow needs.
