EVS Tech I
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months’ experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position
- Possession of a Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification
Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Pay
Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. Expected pay range is $17.00 - $18.89/hour.
Schedule
This is an Hourly position.
About the Role
The EVS Tech I, in accordance with standards of quality, is an essential contributor to promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. The EVS Tech I is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, while ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors. This role is also responsible for ensuring timely room cleans, especially as it relates to hospital patient throughput and responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet hospital/discharge flow needs.
