EVS Tech I
About the role
The EVS Tech I is an essential contributor to promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. This role performs routine cleaning tasks, ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors. The EVS Tech I ensures timely room cleans, especially as it relates to hospital patient throughput, and responds to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet hospital/discharge flow needs.
Pay
Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
Schedule
This is an hourly position.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- 6 months’ experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position (preferred).
- Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification (preferred).
