EVS Project Manager Knoxville, TN
About the role
Xanitos is hiring EVS Project Managers in Knoxville, TN. This position requires 100% travel and involves assisting in the management of an assigned hospital Environmental Services Department under the direction of the EVS Director. The primary job responsibility includes work scheduling, quality assurance checks, managing materials inventory, providing orientation and training, and handling disciplinary actions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in staff selection process
- Schedule days off, holidays, and vacations
- Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties
- Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory
- Ensure staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education
- Provide individual guidance and motivation to staff
- Discipline associates when necessary according to progressive disciplinary guidelines
- Prepare associate disciplinary and variance reports and conduct follow-up investigations
- Counsel associates during disciplinary meetings with guidance from the Department Director
- Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive, and orderly
- Demonstrate and promote the company's culture, values, and management philosophy
- Show quality leadership in meeting performance plans
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- One to three years of supervisory experience in a service-related field with high customer/client contact
- Ambulatory, EVS Healthcare, Floorcare experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred

Physical Functions
- Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods

- Exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment
Computer Skills
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
