EVS Project Technician
Job Summary
The EVS Project Technician is responsible for the restoration of all hard floor surfaces and carpets an upholstery in the Hospital and offices. Cleans and services building areas, removes non-medical waste and medical waste according to established procedures. Performs a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
Pay
Pay Range: Minimum $23.00 Midpoint $26.41 Maximum $29.81 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Minimum one (1) year of project floor care work to include: stripping & waxing, scrubbing & top coating, and carpet & upholstery extraction.
- Preferred: Two (2) or more years of project floor care work.
Education
Preferred: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Training
Knowledge of blending floor finishes (where an area has old finish on the floor and an area with new finish where the two meet there isn't a hard-definitive line. The two ages of finish blend together).
Specialized Skills
- Able to operate heavy floor machines. Ride on and walk behind auto scrubber, carpet extractors, pressure washers, burnishers and roto washers.
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds.
