EVS Lead Attendant - Dual Rate

About the role

The Environmental Services Lead Attendant ensures the successful operation of the EVS shift by working closely with the EVS Supervisor. This dual-rate role requires the Lead to perform lead duties as well as EVS attendant tasks, maintaining high cleanliness standards across all gaming floors, administrative offices, and public areas.

Responsibilities

• When assigned as Lead:
  • Assist EVS Supervisors with maintaining cleanliness and service standards
  • Serve as primary point of contact for team members on shift
  • Review daily inspection feedback with EVS Leadership
  • Manage supplies and storage cleanliness, including inventory
  • Prepare supplies for upcoming shifts
  • Maintain and inspect equipment
  • Ensure team members are properly trained for assigned tasks
  • Conduct daily inspections of all gaming and non-gaming EVS areas
  • Fulfill guest requests or direct guests to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information
  • Uphold professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image for self and subordinates
  • Attend departmental and related meetings
  • Complete reports in a timely manner
• When assigned as Attendant:
  • Sweep, scrub, vacuum, sanitize, and mop floors throughout the facility
  • Sanitize restrooms, public, and non-public areas multiple times per shift
  • Clean carpets, air vents, windows, glass surfaces, trash cans, ashtrays, and interior walls
  • Sweep around chairs, tables, and games
  • Sanitize all touch points, chairs, handrails, doors, tables, and games
  • Collect and remove trash from interior and exterior areas
  • Operate electric-powered cleaning equipment
  • Notify management of repair or deep cleaning needs

Requirements

• Able to obtain KY Gaming License
• Must be at least 21 years old
