About the role
The Environmental Services team at St. Peter's Health Partners provides a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. We are seeking an energetic candidate who is eager for growth and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Thorough room cleaning: follow all processes as designated by training policies to ensure all areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned in a timely manner.
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain good working relationships and communicate with other departments, residents, families, and staff; respond pleasantly to all requests.
- Report problems encountered while performing daily routines to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
Requirements
- Perform housekeeping functions, duties, and responsibilities.
- Demonstrate SPHP Standards of Behavior.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school-level computational skills.
- Able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.

Pay
Per Diem flat rate: $17.00. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
