What You Will Do
The goal of Environmental Services is to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff in accordance with the mission and philosophy of St. Peter's Health Partners. We seek candidates who are energetic and seek opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Thorough room cleaning: Follow all processes as designated by training policies to ensure all areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned, and in a timely manner.
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain good working relationships and communicate with other departments, residents, families, and fellow staff. Respond to requests pleasantly and communicate problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
What You Will Need
- Performs functions, duties, and carries out responsibilities of housekeeping.
- Demonstrates SPHP Standards of Behavior.
- Fulfills written and verbal instructions and completes high school level computational skills.
- Candidate must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds, possess a basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
Pay and Schedule
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
