EVS Assistant Lead
Job Summary and Qualifications
This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The EVS Asst Lead demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide assistance with patient care and department support activities in accordance with department standards.
Non-Certified Responsibilities
- Ordering supplies
- Transporting patients
- Cleaning and turning over OR suites in compliance with department policy
- Assisting with preparation for procedures
- Other department housekeeping responsibilities
Position Requirements
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience: Previous orderly/housekeeping experience in a medical setting preferred
