Events Specialist

About the Opportunity
The Events Specialist role supports the marketing team by planning and executing a range of marketing programs and events that enhance brand awareness and generate sales opportunities. This position ensures both virtual and in-person events are delivered effectively, creatively, and within budget, contributing directly to the organization’s marketing impact and growth.
Responsibilities
- Support the Revenue Marketing team with multiple marketing projects and programs
- Manage event planning and execution to drive pipeline and sales opportunities
- Collaborate on marketing and implementation of company events including conferences, tradeshows, webinars, speaking engagements, and community events
- Source, select, contract, and manage venues
- Coordinate speakers and scheduling
- Assist with internal and external event promotion
- Create and manage registration websites and event apps
- Coordinate hotel rooming lists and transportation
- Track and manage event budgets
- Handle exhibitor and sponsor agreements, benefits, logistics, and reporting
- Manage lead retrieval and post-event lead reporting
- Coordinate swag, deliveries, and gifts
- Provide onsite and virtual event support
- Update and manage the events page on the organization’s website
- Manage requests for new events or sponsorships
- Research and submit speaking engagement opportunities
- Manage booth and exhibitor property
Requirements
- 1-3 years of marketing, corporate events, and tradeshow experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
- Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Vendor negotiation and management skills
- Experience with marketing technology tools such as Cvent, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoom
- Strong project management capabilities
- Ability to collaborate with various internal stakeholders
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and adapt as needed
Pay
The pay range for this position is $42,000 to $65,000 per year, determined by education, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. Eligibility to participate in an annual bonus incentive plan.
