Events Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an Event Specialist who can bring ideas to life and create experiences that people remember. From associate celebrations to community partnerships and recruiting events, this role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering seamless events that highlight the energy and culture of Illuminate USA. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of internal and external events including associate celebrations, recruiting fairs, trade shows, community activities, networking opportunities, and local off-site events.
• Represent Illuminate USA at events and support engagement efforts that strengthen brand awareness, community partnerships, and talent attraction.
• Manage the master event calendar to ensure alignment across teams and company priorities.
• Handle event logistics from start to finish including venue selection, vendor coordination, catering, travel arrangements, schedules, set-up, tear-down, and on-site support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in event planning, event coordination, community engagement, trade show management, marketing events, or project management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence interacting across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• Creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management platforms or CRM tools is a plus.
• Able and willing to travel locally and attend off-site events, including occasional evening or weekend support as business needs require.
