Events Manager
Kalepa is building AI that can perform the professional labor at the heart of the $7T global insurance industry—underwriting, claims, pricing, operations, and distribution. We create professional-grade AI systems for insurers: software that can read, reason, decide, and act inside real workflows over long-time horizons. Kalepa begins by augmenting professionals, earning the right to learn from real decisions and automate what can be automated successfully. Our products are already in production with leading insurers, driving measurable outcomes and expanding across functions. The opportunity is to build the AI operating system for decision-making across insurance. Kalepa is backed by leading investors such as IA Ventures and Inspired Capital, and our team brings experience from Facebook, Palantir, Google, Amazon, McKinsey, Mastercard, and Uber.
Our Values
Kalepa’s values are designed to unlock the potential of our employees and are actively lived every day:
- Hustle and Determination – We take full ownership of our craft and relentlessly pursue excellence with speed and determination. We choose hard problems and do not give up.
- Deliver Customer Impact – We’re obsessed with customer impact. Every feature, line of code, and decision is measured by whether it helps insurers make better decisions. If it doesn’t drive speed, accuracy, or profitability, we don’t build it.
- Meritocracy – We have a high bar but reward excellence with rapid growth. If you’re the best at what you do, you’ll thrive here.
- Transparency – We value honest, transparent communication over politics. We challenge ideas, not people, and say what needs to be said, even when it’s hard.
- Experiment Relentlessly – We tackle unsolved problems by testing quickly, measuring rigorously, and iterating until we find the path forward. Speed of learning is our advantage.
In addition to our NY office, we have remote employees speaking 10+ languages across the globe. We invest in bringing our team together for regional meetups and global offsites (2021 – Playa Del Carmen | 2022 – Rome | 2023 – Buenos Aires | 2024 – Lisbon | 2025 – Cartagena).
About the role
Kalepa is hiring an Events Manager to build and scale a high-impact events program that drives pipeline and revenue. This is a newly created role with full ownership: turning events into a measurable, repeatable source of pipeline and revenue. You will design and execute a strategy focused on highly curated, senior-level engagement with target accounts—including private dinners, roundtables, conferences, and customer advisory boards. Events at Kalepa are tightly integrated into our enterprise sales motion. Your goal is not just to generate pipeline, but to accelerate deals, build trust with senior stakeholders, and create opportunities for deeper engagement across accounts. You will own the function end-to-end, from audience strategy and execution to performance and conversion, working closely with the Marketing Director, Sales, Product, and leadership to make events a durable competitive advantage.

- Launch and scale Kalepa's webinar program as a complementary, top-of-funnel channel
