About the Role The Events & Field Marketing Manager is a full-time role based in the United States. This position serves as the primary owner of marketing-led events across in-person and virtual channels, including industry conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, customer and prospect events, webinars, and other field activations. The role manages the full event lifecycle, from evaluating opportunities and setting goals through logistics, promotion, on-site execution, follow-up, attribution, and ROI reporting. Additionally, the Events & Field Marketing Manager maintains and improves the organization's event playbook, collaborates with cross-functional teams, expands external visibility through speaking opportunities, and provides field marketing and sales enablement support. Key Responsibilities Own the planning and end-to-end execution of all marketing-led events, including trade shows, conferences, executive and VIP experiences, customer and prospect events, dinners, webinars, virtual events, and field activations.Manage event operations end-to-end, including evaluation, budgeting, contracts, timelines, vendor management, sponsorship deliverables, attendee coordination, travel logistics, booth presence, swag, promotional campaigns, meeting programs, and on-site support.Serve as the primary marketing coordinator for major events, establishing clear ownership and cross-functional accountability across Marketing, Sales, Business Development Representative (BDR), Revenue Operations, Partnerships, and 3PL teams.Maintain the organization's event calendar and assess opportunities based on audience alignment, strategic value, anticipated pipeline impact, costs, and historical performance.Provide planning and execution support for partner-led and 3PL-led events as capacity allows, as well as internal offsites.Coordinate hosted experiences surrounding major industry events, including dinners, receptions, and partner activations.Own virtual event execution, including hosted webinars, partner webinars, digital panels, and other online experiences.Establish clear goals, target audiences, success metrics, budgets, and expected outcomes for major events prior to investment.Coordinate pre-event, on-site, and post-event motions to convert event investments into measurable pipeline and business results.Collaborate with Sales and BDR teams on account targeting, prospect lists, meeting-setting campaigns, messaging, lead capture, and timely post-event follow-up.Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure Salesforce campaigns, attribution, lead sources, buyer conversations, opportunities, pipeline, and bookings are accurately tracked and reported.Own ongoing event performance and ROI reporting, measuring attendance, engagement, meetings, qualified leads, opportunities created, pipeline generated, and bookings.Own, implement, and continuously refine the organization's event playbook, creating scalable templates, checklists, briefs, timelines, and communication workflows.Lead cross-functional event kickoffs, recurring planning meetings, and post-event debriefs to document learnings and drive continuous improvement.Proactively identify, evaluate, and manage speaking opportunities, panels, fireside chats, roundtables, workshops, and podcasts for organizational leaders and subject matter experts.Partner with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to equip event attendees and sales representatives with messaging, collateral, product demos, talking points, and event-specific training.Gather market insights through event interactions, customer conversations, and industry research to share relevant competitor and market trends with internal teams.Coordinate targeted gifting, swag, sampling, and relationship-building field marketing initiatives. Required Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in events, field marketing, or B2B marketing, with direct hands-on responsibility for event planning and execution.Demonstrated experience managing in-person events end-to-end, including conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, dinners, and field activations.Experience executing webinars, partner programs, or other virtual events.Strong understanding of how events drive lead generation, pipeline acceleration, customer engagement, and revenue.Experience working closely with Sales, BDR/SDR, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, and Marketing teams.Familiarity with Salesforce and marketing and sales technologies.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, budgets, vendors, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders simultaneously.Exceptional attention to detail in logistics, operational tracking, and follow-up processes.Comfort using data to establish event goals, evaluate performance and ROI, identify areas for improvement, and guide investment decisions.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, partners, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.Resourceful, proactive approach with comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.Willingness and ability to travel for events when necessary, typically a few times per year. Preferred Qualifications Experience with platforms such as HubSpot, Highspot, Sendoso, Salesloft, or similar marketing and sales enablement tools.
