Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aid in the planning and execution of various fan engagement initiatives and special events throughout the 2026-27 season.
  • Assist with event preparation including organizing supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all materials are ready and available for activations and promotions.
  • Support the execution of gameday marketing promotions and activations, such as fan giveaways, brand activations, promotional appearances, gameday events, and vendor relations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to execute campaigns and promotional plans.
  • Participate in focus groups to gather fan insights and promote a positive fan experience.
  • Work as part of a creative team to assist the Fan Development Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing or having a degree in Marketing, Event Management, Sport Management, or a related field.
  • Availability to work weeknights, weekends, gamedays, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong communication skills, an outgoing and positive attitude, and enjoyment of interacting with fans.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle pressure, and prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Hours

  • Pays $16.00 per hour.
  • A part-time role requiring flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Temporary position for the 2026-2027 season.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Operates in both an office setting and in a live events setting.
  • Loud stadium noises and crowds may be present during live event coverage.
  • Candidate must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving boxes up to 20 pounds.

About the Role

  • Supports the marketing department with a primary focus on fan engagement, fan events, and theme night/special game experiences.
  • Works with the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits.
