Events Coordinator, Comms. Specialist
About the role
The Events and Communications Coordinator supports the planning and execution of various internal and external events at eBay. This role involves coordinating live, hybrid, and virtual events, preparing event materials, and providing on-site support.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of live, hybrid, and virtual events aligned with eBay’s business priorities and employee experience.
- Maintain the event calendar, track timelines, achievements, and deliverables across multiple programs.
- Prepare event materials including run of show documents, briefing docs, and logistics trackers.
- Aid in developing event communications, including invitations, reminder emails, run-of-show documents, signage, and follow-up messages.
- Assist with event production elements like audiovisual coordination, staging logistics, and rehearsal support.
- Provide on-site or virtual event support, managing speakers, attendees, and vendors during live events.
- Support basic creative execution including signage, presentations, and attendee experience elements.
- Partner with Internal Comms, Facilities, Catering, AV, IT, Security, and other teams to support event logistics and coordination.
- Aid with registration platforms, attendee tracking, and communications to ensure a smooth participant experience.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and follow-ups with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support efforts to ensure events meet safety and accessibility standards, including ADA considerations and internal policies.
- Track expenses, invoices, and budgets to ensure accurate record-keeping and cost management.
- Help coordinate food and beverage planning, including tracking dietary needs and preferences.
- Stay curious about event trends, tools, and best practices.
- Contribute to maintaining organized files, templates, and processes to support team efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting corporate events, hospitality, marketing events, or related fields.
- Experience assisting with in-person, virtual, or hybrid events, with an understanding of basic event logistics and coordination.
- Familiarity with event tools and platforms (e.g., registration systems, project trackers, or collaboration tools) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and supporting multiple events or priorities at once.
- Willingness to learn event production elements such as AV, staging, and run of show execution.
- Basic understanding of budgeting or expense tracking is a plus.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $107,200 - $143,100 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
Schedule
The role is remote and eligible for U.S. visa sponsorship.
