Events Center Bartender/ Server

Serves alcoholic, nonalcoholic beverages, snacks, and food to Ute Events Center guests in a professional, responsible manner and ensures they have a great experience when attending an event.

About the role

Responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. Provides guests with responsible alcohol service while delivering exceptional customer service. This is an in-person position that is not eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, snacks, and food to guests.
• Ensure positive guest interactions and a great experience for event attendees.
• Mix and serve beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Provide responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcohol.
• Preferred valid Colorado Driver License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. If no driver’s license, reliable transportation is required to arrive at work on time.
• Ability to pass a background check and MVR (if applicable) with results acceptable to the City of Rifle.
• Training in Responsible Serving of Alcohol as described in Rifle Municipal Code, or ability to obtain such training at the first opportunity offered in Rifle.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: None required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or the service industry is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay

The wage range is $16.67 to $19.17 hourly (plus tips), depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Part-time position with flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. No benefits provided.
