Events Center Bartender / Server

About the role

This position serves alcoholic, nonalcoholic beverages, snacks and food to Ute Events Center guests in a professional, responsible manner and ensures they have a great experience when attending an event at the Ute.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Provide guests with responsible alcohol service while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensure positive guest interactions.

Requirements

• Valid Colorado Driver License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at work on-time according to established schedule.
• Pass a background check and MVR if possesses a driver license with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle.
• Able to serve alcohol.
• Training in Responsible Serving of Alcohol as described in Rifle Municipal Code, or ability to obtain such training at the first opportunity offered in Rifle.
• Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or the service industry is preferred, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.

Skills

• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service.

Pay

The wage range is $16.67 to $19.17 hourly (plus tips), depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with no benefits. Flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, are required.
