Events Attendant - Winter 26.27
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says e.g., meaning those are examples, but we should use those headings when appropriate. It also says: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text. So we can create sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide what content goes where.
We have:
- About the role: could include description of job: "Seasonal Work, Play, Get Paid, and Enjoy the Perks!" plus maybe "Adventure Awaits: Explore the stunning Snowshoe Mountain..." and "Make Connections: Meet guests..." That's more about why work with us. Could be placed under About the role.
- Responsibilities: list of duties under "Job Responsibilities". That's a list.
- Requirements: includes Education (High School Diploma or GED), Driving (valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program), Preferred Experience (Basic computer skills, 6 months prior experience...). Also maybe "All Information above is subject to change..." but that's not requirement.
- Qualifications: maybe similar to Requirements; but we can combine? The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could have About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Possibly also Housing? Not in allowed headings; maybe we could put housing under About the role or Benefits? Housing is a perk; could be under Benefits. But we have Benefits section for perks. So we can include housing in Benefits.
- Pay: $15 per hour.
- Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Start Date: The end of November and beginning of December with positions available throughout the season. This could be under About the role or maybe under Schedule? Not exactly schedule. Could be under About the role.
- Seasonal: description could be under About the role.
We need to preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we must include all details: housing, work location, pay, start date, seasonal nature, schedule, perks list, why work with us (adventure, connections), responsibilities list, education, driving, preferred experience, etc.
We must not include boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to remove lines like "Snowshoe is an equal opportunity employer." and "All Information above is subject to change at any time." and "To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations." Those are legal/EEO boilerplate; remove them.
Also remove "If you're seeing this job, we're still hiring and accepting applications" (application instruction). Remove duplicated lines (none seen). Remove cookie/navigation etc (none).
Now craft HTML.
We'll have:
About the role

Start Date: The end of November and beginning of December with positions available throughout the season. Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year. Adventure Awaits: Explore the stunning Snowshoe Mountain and enjoy all the outdoor activities it has to offer while you work. Make Connections: Meet guests and employees from across the country and around the world and provide them with exceptional hospitality that makes Snowshoe their home away from home.
But we need to preserve all details; we should not lose any. Let's list each piece: - Seasonal Work, Play, Get Paid, and Enjoy the Perks! (tagline) - Housing: Affordable on-mountain employee housing available for rent. - Work Location: 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209 - Pay: $15 per hour (will be in Pay section) - Start Date: The end of November and beginning of December with positions available throughout the season. - Seasonal: Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year. - Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (Schedule section) - Why Work with Us? Adventure Awaits: Explore the stunning Snowshoe Mountain and enjoy all the outdoor activities it has to offer while you work. - Make Connections: Meet guests and employees from across the country and around the world and provide them with exceptional hospitality that makes Snowshoe their home away from home. We could combine some. Now Responsibilities: list of duties under "Job Responsibilities". We need to output as- each.
List:
- Taking an active role in daily operations and deployment of event action plans and task lists
- Assisting with the organization and execution of all events and activations
- Upholding standards for guest satisfaction, communication, brand activation and risk management of events
- Managing and maintaining Events equipment and supplies
- Maintaining and organizing Events warehouse and storage facilities
- Supporting a transparent work environment by sharing information with internal Events team and attending required team meetings and trainings.
- Monitoring event & activation information by reviewing, proofing, and reporting any discrepancies or omissions to direct report
- Enforcing the Events Mantra of 'Leave No Trace' by ensuring all marketing collateral, posters, signage, fence, race tape, trash, etc. are removed promptly at the completion of all events and restored to their storage location appropriately in good working order
- Assisting with the set up and breakdown of all Event & Animation activities
- Following established action plans and task lists to ensure success of events
- Providing input and support through participation in weekly meetings and wrap-ups
- Providing additional Activities support when needed
Now Requirements/Education/Preferred Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Driving: Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
Preferred Experience: Basic computer skills; 6 months prior experience in organizing, coordinating, and/or executing group functions, activities, or other events.
We could put these under Requirements section as a list.
Now Benefits: list of perks:
- Medical Benefits - Minimal Essentials Coverage available
- Free skiing and snowboarding privileges at Alterra resorts + Discounts on Ikon Passes!
- 401k plan available to any employee over the age of 18
- Discounted Friends and Family Lift Ticket Vouchers
- 50% off Snowshoe Quick Service Restaurants and 30% off Snowshoe Full Service Restaurants (excludes alcohol)
- 40% off Retail Merchandise and 45% off Mountain Essentials (excludes hard goods, 2 hard good sales for employees throughout winter)
- Pro Deals from some of the industry's top brands such as North Face, Darn Tough, and many many more!
- Affordable on-mountain employee housing available for rent (maybe include here)
But housing already mentioned; we could include in Benefits as well but avoid duplication? The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; duplication is okay if it's originally present? It says remove duplicated lines. So we should not duplicate the same line. Housing appears only once in the posting; we already included it in About the role. If we also put it in Benefits, that would be duplication. So we should keep housing only once. We'll keep it in About the role.
Now Pay: $15 per hour.
Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Now we need to ensure we don't create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". We have real content.
Now produce HTML fragment.
We'll order sections logically: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
Make sure each heading is
. Use
- for lists. Use
for prose. We need to avoid extra blank lines? Not important. Let's craft. About the role paragraph: combine multiple sentences. We'll include: "Seasonal Work, Play, Get Paid, and Enjoy the Perks! Affordable on-mountain employee housing available for rent. Work Location: 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209. Start Date: The end of November and beginning of December with positions available throughout the season. Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year. Adventure Awaits: Explore the stunning Snowshoe Mountain and enjoy all the outdoor activities it has to offer while you work. Make Connections: Meet guests and employees from across the country and around the world and provide them with exceptional hospitality that makes Snowshoe their home away from home." That's all. Now Responsibilities
- with each duty as
- .
Now Requirements: we can list Education, Driving, Preferred Experience as
- items.
Now Benefits: list perks as
- items.
Now Pay:
$15 per hour
Now Schedule:May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Check we haven't missed any info: The posting also had "If you're seeing this job, we're still hiring and accepting applications" removed. Good. Also "All Information above is subject to change at any time." removed. Also "To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations."
- .
Now Requirements: we can list Education, Driving, Preferred Experience as
- for lists. Use
