Events Ambassador
About the role
This role is designed for people who want to layer flexible work hours around other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Represent our client at community events, retail locations, home shows, and festivals
- Engage homeowners in friendly, confident conversations
- Educate customers on our products, promotions, and in-home consultation process
- Set qualified in-home consultation appointments
- Follow simple scripts and qualification guidelines
- Accurately capture customer information using tablets or mobile systems
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort initiating conversations with new people
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Availability to work as events and retail locations require
Qualifications
- Exposure to events, brand ambassador, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is helpful
- Sales or appointment-setting experience is helpful
- Comfort using tablets or mobile apps is helpful

Pay
$20/hour base + performance-based incentives
Schedule
Shifts vary including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and peak community event times. Weekly hours will vary based on event schedules.
