About the role

This position serves as the primary "lead" in specific higher-trained areas such as Tent installation, Deliveries, Power/Lighting, Warehouse Coordination, Exhibition staff, or Cross utilization between both event departments. It reports daily to the Event Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Plan upcoming event needs with EL and/or SES Supervisor.
  • Maintain event inventory control (both delivered and returned).
  • Ensure inventory is in good condition and available for rental.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/shop.
  • Loading and unloading orders each week.
  • Completing Warehouse and vehicle checklist as required.
  • Install and strike Estate Exhibitions/Special Events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or GED).
  • Additional training preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing world-class internal/external guest service.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic math skills a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project/time management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail with focus on quality and service.
  • Proactive, takes initiative, and exercises good judgment.
  • Can operate effectively in an intense and dynamic guest service environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds on a regular basis with assistance.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
  • Forklift certification may be required.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and/or scaffolding.
  • Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper applications.
  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • May work indoors and outside in all types of weather with fluctuations in temperature and conditions; may be exposed to dirt, dust, pollen, fumes, smoke, chemicals, and/or other particulates.
