What You'll Do
- Pull, prep, configure, test, and stage audio visual equipment for client events.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on electronic and AV equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs or coordinate replacements as needed.
- Conduct quality control inspections on equipment returning from events to ensure it's ready for future use.
- Transport, install, operate, and dismantle audio visual equipment at trade shows, corporate meetings, and business events.
- Operate equipment including: Microphones, Speakers, Mixing consoles, Video switchers and video racks, Projectors, LED walls, Cameras, Recording equipment.
- Support warehouse operations to ensure equipment is prepared and delivered on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles and production equipment.
- Accurately complete timesheets and required documentation.
- Follow Peak Technologies' safety standards, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing Peak Technologies on-site.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Approximately 1–3 years of experience in audio visual production, electronics repair, live events, technical support, or a related field.
- Experience preparing, troubleshooting, and operating professional audio visual equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electronic equipment and mechanical systems.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Able to prioritize work and perform well under the pressure of live event deadlines.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Preferred Experience: Experience supporting trade shows, corporate meetings, conferences, or live events; Familiarity with professional AV systems and production workflows; Experience working in warehouse, production, or event environments.
