Event Staff - Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park (Seasonal Part time)

About the role

Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company, comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. This role is part-time and seasonal and requires evening and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, providing stellar customer service with a smile;
• Scanning tickets upon entry to the venue;
• Answering guest questions;
• Alerting guests of venue policies as needed;
• Examining tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event and assisting guests with locating their seats;
• Helping with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations;
• Examining tickets or passes to verify authenticity;
• May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas;
• Aiding in maintaining the venue’s safety, cleanliness, and presentation to guests;
• Helping to resolve guest complaints or problems, or directing them to the appropriate department to assist them;
• Guiding guests to exit or providing other instructions or assistance in an emergency;
• Able to provide stellar customer service with a smile;
• Aiding in keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable to the guests;
• Closing the venue after the show, including collecting and properly storing event equipment such as barricades and tables;
• Partnering with fellow crew members at the end of the show to close the venue;
• Assisting with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable to the guests;
• Participating in the sustainability team in collecting cans and cups and placing them in the proper bins;
• Assisting patrons by giving directions to places inside or outside the venue;
• Additional tasks as requested by the Supervisor or Management.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age;
• High School Diploma or Equivalent;
• At least 1+ years in a guest service role preferred;
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy;
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in an entertainment environment, and enforcement procedures;
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance;
• Ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures;
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.

Qualifications

• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and working outdoors in all weather conditions;
• Must be able to work 50 percent of the shows;
• Ability to stand for more than 4 hours or more;
• Able to properly communicate instructions to attendees.

Skills

• Must be able to identify hazards or potential situations before they arise;
• Willingness to learn multiple positions within the venue.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. The actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, and the specific location of the position.

This role is part-time and seasonal, requiring evening and weekend availability.
