Job Skills / Requirements
- Scope: Event Staff Security Officers provide crowd control services for events such as concerts, sporting events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Responsibilities: Ensure the safety of patrons, guests, and performers; maintain hospitality standards; enforce venue-specific guidelines; perform foot patrol; and use de-escalation techniques.
- Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, have no felony convictions, pass a criminal background check, be available to work at least 4+ events per month, and have excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand or walk for 4-8 hour shifts, respond to emergencies, work in or outdoors, hear conversations in noisy environments, and lift up to 50 pounds.
