Event Staff
LAZ Parking is hiring Event Staff for University of Michigan events. We will be at Pioneer High School on July 7th-8th from 10 AM to 2 PM—visit us at the entrance or just inside the doors to learn about upcoming events and football season! Bring two forms of ID and a resume.

Pay
$15/hr. Earn a $300 bonus for working all football games. Use Pay Activ for on-demand access to up to 50% of your earned wages immediately.
Schedule
Part-time, flexible shifts available—days, evenings, and weekends—aligned with U of M Football and other event schedules.

Responsibilities
- Screen event traffic as assigned
- Process event passes and credit card transactions
- Direct event traffic efficiently
- Set up and tear down event signage and equipment
- Ensure facilities are clean and debris-free after events
- Provide exceptional customer service with a professional, friendly demeanor
- Resolve customer issues or escalate to supervisors
- Greet customers courteously and assist with directions
- Adhere to dress code and safety standards
- Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors
- Expedite traffic flow in a timely manner
- Report incidents per company policies
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat)
- Ability to stand continuously for 3–6 hours
- Professional communication skills in English (speaking, reading, comprehension)
- Openness to feedback and differing viewpoints
- Sense of urgency and timeliness
- Commitment to self-improvement
- Strong teambuilding and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a customer service role
- Experience handling cash and monetary transactions
- Parking industry experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience in outdoor/extreme weather conditions preferred
Physical Demands
- Lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds
- Stand, walk, and run for extended periods
- Bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently during shifts
- Work in all weather conditions (heat, wind, snow, rain)
- Work all scheduled events
