Key Purpose
The Event Assistant is responsible and accountable for physical setup, breakdown, inventory and maintenance for all event spaces and equipment.
Success Criteria
- Well organized with outstanding coordination
- Ability to communicate with event team members and cross-functional teams to ensure successful operations
- Maintain organized and functional storage spaces including equipment and supply management
- Intermediate skill level using Google applications (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Hangouts, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Reliable, responsible, dependable, and capable of fulfilling physical and logistical obligations
- Outstanding hospitality and interpersonal skills
- Calmly and effectively maintain and adapt within high-stress environments
Ideal Candidate Experience
- 1+ years of experience in a support role involving physical labor, logistics, or inventory management (e.g. warehouse facilities, production assistant)
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and practical skills, able to handle multiple set up projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordinating logistics
- Experience using inventory management systems is a plus
- Proven track record in a role requiring attention to detail and physical stamina
- Resourceful and excellent problem-solver for onsite challenges
- A collaborative team player
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
- Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

Hourly Wage: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
