Your Passion To be the Representative for Jesus Christ and the ministries of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and for the schools of Calvary Christian Academy. The Facilities Event Set-Up Representative works with the various church ministries / Volunteers and with CCA staff to assist in event preparation and planning, event set-up and event break down. You will be responsible for assessing the facility and equipment needs for each event and overseeing the allocation of resources for those events. The specific focus of the Facilities Events Set-Up Representative is to assist the General Services Manager by administering all aspects of facilities coordination in ways that would be pleasing and glorifying to God. You will be flexible in working with a variety of individuals on a variety of projects as part of a team that works together to accomplish the diverse tasks associated with maintenance, custodial, grounds and landscape construction. You Are Convinced a relationship with Jesus changes everything in a person’s lifeCommitted to keeping your family as your first ministryDedicated in your personal study of God’s WordConsistently placing a high priority on worship and your personal prayer lifeAn excellent and generous steward of your personal financesObedient to God to take a Sabbath and make space for soul-keepingDeeply compassionate towards people who are in need or hurtingExcited about global missions and local outreach - you want to change the worldA part of a healthy friendship community and accountability circleWilling to give up personal pleasures and freedoms in order to live a life above reproach and that is aligned with our Leadership Covenant You Will Work closely with General Services Manager and Events Supervisor on assessing needs for upcoming eventsNeed to attend meetings initiated by an Events Supervisor to go over Facility and event setup needs for upcoming eventsMonitor event setup requests and schedule via Ministry PlatformProvide facilities set-up for all events shown on the weekly event schedule while working under the oversight of the Events Supervisor and General Services ManagerSet-up may include directional and room signs; set-up of furniture, fixtures, banners, pallet walls and other needs specific to a particular eventAssist with breakdown following events and returning furniture, fixtures, A-frame signs, Banners, etc. and other miscellaneous items to proper storage areasWork with Events Supervisor and General Services Manager, Facilities department staff, church staff, CCA staff and volunteers to accomplish event set-up, breakdown, and return of equipment and furnishings as directed by the Maintenance ManagerWork with the Events Supervisor and General Services Manager to develop the most efficient means of facilitating event set-up needs including use of carts, dollies, forklifts, golf carts, trucks, vans and maximizing storage capabilitiesWork with Events Supervisor and General Services Manager and Communications Department to implement and maintain a system for placement and storage of interior and exterior directional and room signage including A-Frames signs, banners, pallet wallsAssist with tasks assigned from Events Supervisor and General services manager with tasks not specifically related to events.
