Organization- Grand Hyatt Denver Summary The Event Set Up Houseperson Part-time Flex Shifts at the Grand Hyatt Denver is responsible for working alone or as part of a team to set up and break down meeting rooms with tables, chairs, water stations, risers, linens, etc. An Event Set Up Houseperson has the opportunity to interact with Hyatt guests and assist them with their requests. Candidates must have the following skills: Must have good communication skills. Previous customer service experience required. This position requires the ability to lift, push and carry moderate to heavy weight on a consistent basis, and involves a great deal of standing and walking. Qualifications Additional qualifications for this position: A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to identify written numbers. Must be comfortable making basic conversation with guests. Must be able to lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight. Must be able to stand or walk for the duration of the shift. Candidate must have open availability for mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays. $22.40 per hour. Benefits available with this position: Sick pay - Earn (1) hour of sick pay for every (30) hours worked with a maximum of (48) hours per year.
